Pick a color mode to set the foundation for your theme. Light mode keeps things crisp and bright, while Dark mode enhances contrast and depth.
Data color palettes
Data colors are applied to all data visualizations. Create a custom palette to apply to your data colors. Adding at least 8 colors is recommended.
Neutral palettes
Neutral colors are applied to nearly every foreground and background element in Power BI, creating subtle changes that enhance visual harmony and focus.
Default Power BI font families
These font families come pre-installed in Power BI and are the best sans-serif options available in Power BI. Segoe UI is the default Power BI font and is often the best choice since it has the most weights.
Custom font families
These fonts are publicly available and are great choices for modern dashboards due to their readability and number of weights. These fonts need to be installed before users can see them.
Background styles
These settings control the canvas background color and visual background colors
Border styles
Control the default border radius of all objects. Settings apply to visual borders, shapes, buttons and other elements where applicable.
